When Vexa went to Mykonos
Five days in May.
A beautiful villa.
The best group of women.
Movement, mindfulness, and meals made from vegetables so fresh they were still warm from the sun.
Because self-care is more than a solo bubble bath and a glass of red-wine. It’s realizing that time spent with good people, surrounded by breathtaking nature, a little bit of sweating, smiling, breathing and indulging in a fine mix of wellness and wellbeing… is the ultimate reset.
So, what happens when nine women from six different countries come together on a wellness adventure in Greece?
Let us show you.
Welcome circle with a view.
The ladies arrived at our villa (@villajoymykonos), greeted by honey-rosemary spritz mocktails and an Aegean Sea so blue we actually couldn’t believe our eyes. Throughout the days we opened up, sharing how, and more importantly why, we each found ourselves on this island.
Greek feasts followed, served family-style, laughter spilling into the night (sometimes tears), until we finally drifted off to sleep in rooms with spectacular views. Over the next five days, every day carried a new intention. Movement, meals, and moments of reflection were all put together to align with each theme.
RESTART & RESET
REIMAGINE & REFINE
REVITALIZE & REWILD
RECONNECT & REVIVE
RECLAIM & RESTORE
RESTED & READY
(it’s all about the re-things)
Mindfulness & Movement – Emilie led our group through two classes everyday, combining yoga, breath, meditation, functional fitness, pilates and weightlifting with a sprinkle of her own magic. In addition to the movement classes two workshops were held – “How to Refine your Reset” - The Vexa Wellness series pt. 1, and “Integration, the less-spoken-about kind of healing” The Vexa Wellness series pt. 2.
And there is a fine line between wellness and well-being – we wanted a bit of both. So that’s why we made sure to include a sailing trip on a catamaran (hey hot greek captain), and sunset dinner at the worlds best beach club Scorpios (hey amazing music and vibes).
Three hours of mindful movement and mindfulness a day led by Emilie.
Daily plates and dining experiences prepared with love and care by Vilde.
Salted Lime Soda after a sweaty sesh with Emilie by the pool. Thank you so much to Supernature for sponsoring us with the best superfood and drinks🤍
Because a retreat isn’t about pushing harder on a yoga mat, lifting heavier weights, or endlessly chasing the extraordinary (or – yes this might be a part of a retreat, but not everything). It is also about slowing down and get a break from your everyday life, to reset your body, head and heart, to get back home filled with inspiration and a body battery at 100%.
And between the sweat, the swims, and the shared plates of fresh vegetables, cheese and olives, all beside the pool looking out over the sea, something very beautiful happened. The conversations deepened and strangers became sisters in a matter of hours. We realized that connection isn’t just part of the retreat — it is the retreat. Connection to each other, to the the beautiful island of Mykonos, to our bodies, to our heads and hearts.
We came home with new friends, a tan, and a few memory cards packed with moments we’ll treasure forever. The first Vexa retreat is over – and just the beginning of our little wellness adventure.
Now, we reset, restore, and reflect, ready for whatever’s next.
With love,
Vilde & Emilie 🧿
Romantizing life through music - how Emilie let Spotify make most decisions in her life.
.. for when you truly want to be the main character in your own life
Vilde is the visual wizzard of Vexa, I am the DJ. I have a playlist for every.single.moment. I take my playlists very seriously, and I actually makes major decisions based on what song comes on when I “shuffle”.
Music brings life into everything. I can still to this day vividly remember what I listened to on a roadtrip in Hawaii, but I tend to forget the year I was there. I listened to The High Road by Broken Bells driving a tourquise jeep wrangler driving along the coast of the North Shore of Oahu, feeling the coolest I have ever felt. The year was 2011. Even though that is now 14 years ago, when that song comes on it reminds me of the early adventurer, the girl who wanted to explore the world - and also the girl who despratly wanted to be like the girls in the movie “Blue Crush”.
There is a common saying in the yoga teacher business, that we all secretly teach yoga so that people are forced to listen to our carefully curated playlist for 60-90 minutes. I am definitely guilty in that statement.
So, when Vilde and I decided that we wanted to start our “re-things” category at Vexa, me sharing a playlist was inevitable. And this is THE playlist. 40 hours, and still growing. Yet every single song have a meaning, a memory or a reason for being on the list. Hence the vast spread of music genres. ABBA, Ocean Alley, Dua Lipa and Keinemusic. We cover all ground here. Which is why, this is a playlist made to be played on shuffle, only.
The song you get - that is your tune, your message, your guide.
I have literary decided wether or not I would go on a date because of this playlist. I shuffeled, “ I am every woman" by Chaka Khan came on, I did not go on a date that evening.

Wellness and a World of possibilities: Vilde’s 2025 Vision Board
A new year calls for a new vision board. Let’s have a look at what co-founder Vilde is getting up to in 2025.
As we step into 2025, I’ve got my sights set on a year filled with growth and discovery, not just for me but for you, too! My vision board is a colorful (and slightly chaotic) collection of my wildest dreams, goals for the year, and big ideas.
Let me walk you through some of the highlights:
1. Deep dive into wellness
This year, I’m ALL IN: Wellness for my mind, body, soul – and as a career path. My passion for holistic health is guiding me to step even further into the wellness space, and share my learnings with you. My attention is turned to ancestral wisdom, even shamanism, as I explore the deep-rooted practices that connect us to nature, ourselves, and the timeless traditions of healing and finding the balance that our nature so effortlessly shows us.
I am buzzing with excitement and will dive into different courses to soak up the knowledge, to become a better business owner, entrepreneur, chef, healer, coach and photographer. And this year, Vexa is going to be my go-to for all things wellness, and I can’t wait to bring you along for the ride.
2. Trusting my gut
A huge focus of mine in 2025 is to get more in tune with my intuition. Whether it’s planning the next retreats for Vexa, or making decisions in my personal life, I’m learning to lean on that inner voice and gut feeling. How? Prioritizing meditation, making space for moments of stillness, and time in nature.
3. The Vexa Experience
If there’s one thing that lights me up, it’s creating unforgettable moments and extraordinary experiences. From yoga retreats in stunning locations to hikes through nature’s most breathtaking landscapes, I’m pouring my heart into curating experiences that help you re-charge, re-connect, and re-discover yourself. Vexa is all about personal growth, that inner journey, and I can’t wait to “vexa” with you.
4. A wellness haven in Norway
One of the most exciting visions on my board? Creating a dedicated wellness space in Norway, the place where both me and Emilie is from. A place where you can reset and refocus, a place for all the re-things. It’s still a huge dream in the works, but I’m planting the seeds and can’t wait to see it grow into a magical sanctuary where we can invite you all in.
So, this vision board isn’t just about dreaming – it’s a lot about doing. It’s about creating a life where I feel aligned with my purpose.
It’s about keeping me accountable for my dreams and goals, reminding me to work hard and give it my all, every - single - day.
